As part of ACCA Nigeria’s activities to mark International Women’s Day, members, affiliates and entrepreneurs are invited to join this webinar on 11 March, jointly organised by ACCA Nigeria’s women’s network and FATE Foundation.
The virtual event will look at successful case studies and discuss the challenges facing women entrepreneurs in Nigeria, including access to funding, getting the socioeconomic environment right and reducing inequalities.
The line-up of speakers and panellists will include:
- Oby Ezekwesili, senior economic adviser at the Africa Economic Development Policy Initiative, who will give the keynote address
- Ngover Ihyembe-Nwankwo, chair of women’s empowerment organisation WIMBIZ, which works to empower women to take on leadership roles in management, business and public service
- Victoria Abiola Ajayi FCCA, deputy CFO, TVC Communications
- Joseph Owolabi FCCA, ACCA vice president
- Oghogho Osula, non-executive director, Emerging Africa Asset Management
