As part of a global campaign in the run-up to Cop26, ACCA’s Brussels office is partnering with the International Integrated Reporting Council and the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (both bodies are to merge this year into a single organisation, the Value Reporting Foundation) for an online event that will look at creating value and managing impact through integrated sustainability disclosure.
The event on 2 June is also a partner event of the European Commission’s EU Green Week 2021.
ACCA chief executive Helen Brand will be speaking, as will Peter Bakker, president and CEO of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), and Heidi Hautala, vice-president of the European parliament.
