ACCA has been voted professional body of the year at the Digital Accountancy Awards. The award recognises ACCA’s strategy to 2025, its continued and amplified focus on student and member wellbeing and employability, and its approach to Covid-19 and remote invigilation.
The judges said: ‘ACCA wields profound influence within the accountancy industry and beyond, including the finance and business world, government and society as a whole.’
In the award citation, the judges also name-checked ACCA’s report Professional accountants at the heart of sustainable organisations.
‘This award is a testament to the impact ACCA is making and an accolade that we’ve all played a part in achieving,’ said head of ACCA UK Claire Bennison.
The annual Digital Accountancy Forum and Awards brings together accounting firms, regulators and industry bodies, consultancies and advisers, law firms and tech vendors, to debate the key challenges impacting the accountancy sector and the opportunities for growth that they represent.
ACCA first won the award in 2016.
