Nifti Personal Leasing provides an all-inclusive motoring package for a set monthly fee. Our contracts range from 24 to 48 months and include the cost of the vehicle, road tax and routine service and maintenance costs. We focus on sustainable motoring via the Driving Electric section of our website, helping educate customers about the benefits of driving electric and hybrid vehicles.
The overall day-to-day operations of the business fall within my remit in addition to the finance function. My responsibilities include procurement, pricing, legal, HR and administration. Leasing can be a complex business, so it is vitally important that all departments work together to ensure the customer journey is as smooth as possible while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of back-of-house operations.

Like many businesses during the pandemic, we have moved online what is traditionally seen as a physical buying experience. Essentially all elements of the customer journey are now completed digitally, with the exception of the vehicle handover. Customers can visit our website, select their vehicle of choice, choose a contract term and annual mileage that best suits their needs, and apply online. Signatures are captured digitally and the only time a customer will interact physically with Nifti is on delivery of their vehicle.
We are a very new company, so one of our main goals this year will be to spread the word about Nifti and the benefits of leasing a vehicle with us. We are in the early stages of developing a customer portal for in-life lease management. This will allow current and new customers to book a service, download documentation and interact with the Nifti customer care team via a dedicated portal. We also plan to on-board more brands, which will broaden our product offering and expand our customer base.
Post-pandemic Ireland would be improved by a re-evaluation of the grants and reliefs for electric and hybrid vehicles for both private and business users. VRT relief and SEAI grants are a key component for putting more electric and hybrid vehicles on Irish roads and achieving our carbon emission targets.
In helping launch a new business, I have learned that good planning and teamwork are absolutely essential to success. It is important to get all stakeholder feedback before implementing a project or plan. The more feedback, the greater chance of success.
