The sudden explosion of professionals using personal and business computers and devices to work remotely when Covid-19 struck has given cybercriminals extended access to target and penetrate an organisation’s most critical assets, data and operational environments.
Separate analysis gathered by ACCA Ireland and Grant Thornton Ireland shows over 40% of SMEs are unprepared for a cyber-attack, despite research showing nearly a quarter of Irish businesses have experienced an attack in the past 18 months.
