ACCA is celebrating micro-, small and medium-sized enterprises with MSME Day on 27 June, paying tribute to members in SMEs and small and medium-sized practices (SMPs) around the world.
SMEs represent about 90% of businesses and more than 50% of employment worldwide, and they rely heavily on support for access to finance, information and environments conducive to growth.
ACCA recognises the role that SMPs play as trusted advisers to small businesses, helping them develop new revenue streams, transform their business models and transition to more sustainable practices. To commemorate the day, it has produced case studies and other tributes to SMPs.
