The ACCA Africa Public Sector conference, to be held online on Thursday 30 March from 9am to 12.30pm GMT, will bring together government leaders and key stakeholders from across the continent to share insights and experience with the theme ‘Transforming the public sector – accounting for a better world’.
Among other key issues, panel discussions will explore:
- what effective public financial management looks like
- how accountants can work with institutions to bring about transformation
- the need for policy harmonisation
- how knowledge and competency gaps might be filled to enable effective intra-Africa trade.

- Alta Prinsloo, CEO of the Pan African Federation of Accountants
