US singer, songwriter and record producer Babyface tops the charts with a return on investment of 134%

It’s well known that celebrities like to invest in their glamorous lifestyles by buying up luxury real estate and flaunting their yachts and high-end cars. But research by Forex.com has found that business ventures, intellectual property and financial instruments as well as collectables have also produced good returns for the rich and famous.

Logan Paul’s impressive portfolio includes NFTs and cryptocurrency

According to the research, celebrities invested an average of US$38m per venture, and a third have put over US$100m into a single business investment.

More than a Babyface

Singer/songwriter Babyface tops the charts with a return on investment of 134% – more than double the return that singers typically make compared to their net worth. This is thanks to a portfolio that includes a US$7m New York property, a US$3m mansion in Paris and a Bugatti Chiron worth US$3m.

Social-media influencer and TikTok star Bella Poarch is the top female on the list, making a 51% return on net worth.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old YouTuber and Twitch streamer TommyInnit, and social-media influencer (and wrestler) Logan Paul, enjoy impressive portfolios that include non-fungible tokens and cryptocurrency.

YouTubers lead

YouTubers have been found to have the best return on their investments at 13.6% return on net worth. Athletes have the highest average net worth, at US$905m, but only make 9.84% return on investments.
