The innovations highlighted in the report, including administrations’ growing ability to handle large and complex datasets, show how the pandemic accelerated the growth in digital services and digital transformation, and led to the consideration of new ways of working more generally.
For example, in-person visits saw a drop of 55% in 2020, and there was a 30% increase in digital contacts.
