ACCA has relaunched its sustainability hub as part of its activities around Earth Day on 22 April and in the run-up to COP26, the UN’s 26th climate change conference, in Glasgow, Scotland, in November.

The site offers insights and resources to support organisations in understanding key sustainability issues and the part the profession can play in building back better.

Highlights include a video extract from an ACCA and IFAC event featuring Mark Carney, COP26 finance adviser and the UN’s special envoy on climate action and finance. He states that one of the aims of COP26 is to ensure there is a framework in place so that ‘every financial decision can take climate change into account’. He says the accountancy profession is ‘absolutely essential’ in achieving climate action and building a sustainable recovery.

Find this and more, including an invitation to join the Big Conversation on climate action, at the relaunched ‘Rethinking sustainable business’ hub.
