This month, Emma Hinchey FCCA talks about her inspirational career shift from professional accountant to successful entrepreneur. Hailing from Ireland, Hinchey moved to Australia and set out to establish The CEO Centre. Describing herself as a ‘change CEO’, she and her team support organisations on a short-term basis to get things done. And when she isn’t solving problems, the accomplished musician performs in an Irish folk music band at events around Adelaide.

We also interview the new CEO of IFAC, Lee White FCCA. The former CEO of Chartered Accountants ANZ went on to help establish the International Sustainability Standards Board and is a huge advocate for the accountancy profession. He says preconceptions that some people may have about accountants mean it’s time for accountants themselves to start shaping the narrative. Read the interview.
