I started my professional life with KPMG Albania and moved to KPMG Belgium in 2019 to gain international experience. That relocation has been one of my biggest moments stepping out of my comfort zone and a life-changing experience in so many ways. The move made me stronger and better prepared to face every situation with confidence.
The current fast-changing environment requires a great effort from companies to keep up with laws and regulations. Success comes from accountability, ownership and ambition
AI has increased efficiency, allowing more time for judgment calls, decision-making and client relationships, while traditional processes are undergoing substantial change. However, progress always comes with challenges, so firms have already created AI data privacy policies to ensure responsible and ethical use of the technology with a special focus on employee training.
What I enjoy most about my job is collaborating with highly skilled colleagues and clients. Every day brings something new, which keeps my job engaging and challenging. I also like having the flexibility to work from different locations.
My favourite mantra comes in three parts. ‘If you are going to do it, do it!’ ‘Say what you can do and then do what you say,’ and ‘When it comes to it, don’t dip a toe in but dive!’ To me this represents accountability, ownership and ambition and is a reminder that success comes from having the commitment and the discipline to continue, plus the integrity to stand by your words.

If I could pass a law, I would give better access to education in countries where it is lacking. The law would remove barriers and create opportunities for everybody to learn and succeed, which is one of the most important ways of helping societies evolve and develop. If I weren’t an accountant, I’d have been an economic and geopolitical analyst, assessing the impact of political developments on international markets. I have always been interested in understanding the bigger picture and the connection between economics, politics and global markets.
In my own time, I enjoy staying active by regularly taking part in sports. It helps me maintain a healthy lifestyle and disconnect from work. I also have a strong interest in travelling as I have always been curious and want to explore new countries and cultures. These interests help me balance my wellbeing and personal development.
